Local Building Surveyor Data Feed

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Lead integration site settings. Here you will find a section for Local Building Surveyor.

This provides a ‘webhook’ that you need to send to your account manager at Local Building Surveyor. It will look something like:

https://yourcompany.surveybooker.co.uk/api/lbs

This is where your new leads are posted to so that they are saved directly to your account.

Once all the settings below are in place, leads will start adding into your Survey Booker account. Your welcome email will send within 5 minutes of being saved. 

Set up your API key

Local Building Surveyor will arrange the set up for you and send you your:

• Account ID
• Account Key.

Once these are added the feed is activated by Local Building Surveyor your data feed will be live. Note: the account ID and account key must be added in the correct fields and not added the wrong way around for the feed to work.

Settings – pair lead types

Please select which survey type each lead type you receive should save as.

E.g. should a homebuyer lead save as a Homebuyer Report (survey only) or Homebuyer Report (survey and valuation)

Save estimate provided: You can also tick if the estimate provided by Local Building Surveyor should be saved or if the quote should go bespoke for you to quote manually.

My leads aren’t saving

There are 3 causes of leads not saving:

• Your account key or account ID is incorrectly saved (check there are no extra spaces added at the start or end, or they are not the wrong way around)
• Your webhook is not correct on the Local Building Surveyor side
• You have not paired incoming leads to job types in Survey Booker
