Adding custom templates and standard attachments
Custom templates
Custom templates can be setup if you’re sending custom emails / Outlook emails from the job timeline page. Here you can set up any general templates you often send out.
The template is edited in the same way as your automated templates above.
You can create folders in which to group your email templates (e.g. sales emails, job update templates etc).
Like your automated templates, you can add standard attachments, set the subject, body text etc.
Standard attachments
To save time uploading an attachment to a standard email you send out and to save storage space on your account you can upload standard attachments to your settings.
Once uploaded here you can go to your automated and custom email templates and assign the attachment to the email. This will allow you to attach sample reports, guides and more to your sample emails.
You can add folders to categorise your uploaded documents.
Limits: each plan comes with a different limit on the number of custom templates or documents that can be uploaded to the system. Check out our pricing page to see the different limits set.
Shortcodes: these cannot be added to the subject line. Some shortcodes cannot be added into a custom template at all such as [Login Here] and [Activate Customer Account Button] however, the majority can. You can enter your own links using the link button in the editor.
