Setting up your PinLocal Data Feed
From your Settings > Integrations > Lead generation site integrations page you will find a section for PinLocal.
Provide to PinLocal
Your PinLocal integration settings provide a ‘web hook’ that you need to send to your account manager at PinLocal. It will look something like:
https://companyname.surveybooker.co.uk/api/pinlocal (all lower case)
This is where your new leads are posted to so that they save directly to your account. PinLocal will arrange the set up for you and confirm back once it is live.
In Survey Booker:
API key: Add your API key from PinLocal to authenticate the leads sent from PinLocal (this lets us know the leads being sent are genuine).
Pair incoming leads to job types in your account: Set which survey type each type of lead you receive from PinLocal should save as (e.g. a Homebuyer lead could be paired with a Homebuyer survey only, Homebuyer survey and valuation etc).
What happens next?
Once both parts have been set up the feed will automatically run in the background. We will save each lead sent to us and send out your welcome email for the relevant survey type. The welcome email will send out within 5 minutes of the lead saving.
My leads aren’t saving
There are 3 causes of leads not saving:
- Your API key is incorrectly saved (check there are no extra spaces added at the start or end)
- Your webhook is not correct on the PinLocal side
- You have not paired incoming leads to job types in Survey Booker
